Meet Kimberly Bannister
For more than three decades, Kimberly served at the highest levels of the federal government, holding GS-15 executive roles at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Her work spanned budget execution, financial-management policy, internal controls, and acquisition oversight — the disciplines that keep federal dollars accurate, compliant, and accountable. She led modernization efforts, managed complex budgets, and built a reputation for precision under pressure. Today she brings that same rigor to something more personal: helping the people of Southern Maryland take real control of their finances.
